The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance
This year marks the 80th anniversary of D Day and other significant turning points in the Second World War. Join us, for our musical tribute to our Armed Forces past and present and with us recognise the unique contribution made by service families both in times of conflict and in peace time.
The Festival of Remembrance will be led by Humberside Police Concert Band and Eclectic Wind Orchestra with performances from nine-year-old Charlotte Lee and staff and students from St Mary’s College.
All proceeds from the concert will support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Hull Remembrance Sunday Parade
Annual Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service in Hull.
The parade forms up on Pease Street, off Anlaby Road. The parade marches off down Anlaby Road and onto Ferensway and forms up for the Remembrance Service at the Hull War Memorial. After the service, the parade marches off down Ferensway and disperses.

All Services Parade – Eden Camp
The museum’s largest event invites veterans from all services and generations to take part in the parade and service.
We invite you to join us in a long awaited commemoration of all of those who have fought for our freedom today.
Following the parade and remembrance service, visitors will have the chance to talk to veterans about their experiences from conflicts throughout history.
Please note that the museum will be open as normal on these days. Events are attended voluntarily and as such they may be affected by influences such as adverse weather conditions. We advise that you contact the museum nearer the time of any event to receive confirmation, admission prices and further details
Hull Marina Social Drinks
Get together with members of the Branch for drinks and if you really need to food! We can stay in the Humber Bar & Grill or move on to another venue. The choice is yours. Open to friends and family.
West Yorkshire Branch Meet Up – York
West Yorkshire Branch RMPA Meet Up in York.
Meet up with Davey Paynter and Members of the West Yorkshire Branch in the historic town of York. Meeting at the The Malting’s Pub, you’ll have to be on your best behaviour! As it is known at the UK’s strictest pub!! But don’t worry, there’s plenty more around there!
A couple of us are planning on getting the train from Hull leaving at 10.40hrs.
