RMP Presented with Operational Medals

Troops from 110 Provost Company 1st Royal Military Police have been presented with their operational medals in Sennelager.

The company deployed with their RAF and Royal Marine colleagues.

One place where they made a significant impact was at the Lashkar Gah Police Training Centre, training up the Afghan forces to take control of their own policing.

The company deployed across Helmand with troops from the Royal Marines and the RAF Police, embedded with battle groups to help with detentions and gathering evidence. During this time the support they got from their families back home was crucial.

After a successful tour the company will now go off to enjoy some quality time with their loved ones.

The new Hull & East Riding RMPA Website brings new functionality including registered users being able to comment on certain items, for example photographs. Users can also build-up a portfolio of their favourite photographs from all the available galleries and then down load these images in a single ZIP file. You'll also be able to see who's on-line now in the 'Who's On-Line' menu on the left of the Home Page. Eventually, you will also be able to chat to other users from within the website.

As the website develops, other interactions will be available.
